In my meditation, I saw a bird walking along the water's edge, poking its long beak into the sand to look for food. I heard the word, "Sandpiper". I understand this message to mean that just as birds have specially formed beaks to help them get their food, we humans have something special about us, too, to help us live our life to the fullest.
When we think about a sandpiper, we know that it needs its long and narrow beak to dig for and find its food in the sand. The eagle has a very sharp beak so that it can pull its prey apart and eat it, and the pelican has a pouch in its beak to be able to hold fish. These birds use their specially formed beaks to get the food they need.
There's also something very special about us humans, and that is the ability to tap into our higher consciousness to enhance our life. We need only to become aware of how we are connected to all that is and what role we can play in raising the vibration of the earth. Having that awareness is our 'special' tool. Without it, we are merely existing and trying to get along in a culturally conditioned world.
Once we become aware of our 'special' attribute, our whole life changes. When we become conscious, we understand that living a materialistic life cannot be our goal because that uses only a limited part of us. Rather, our awareness expands to those around us and beyond. We begin to think about how we can help the greater good in this world. This, in turn, is the food that feeds us and helps us to live our life to the fullest.
