In today's message, I was shown a beautiful vintage car from the 1930s. It stood in front of a mansion, and a wealthy man and woman were walking to the car. I was asked to compare our transport situation today with how it was 90 years ago. Back in the old days, only wealthy people could afford to own a car. It was a privilege that only a few had. Nowadays, we take it for granted to have a car. There are cars available in all prices so that most everyone can own one. But often, we find ourselves wishing we had the newest model of a car or a really fancy one.
I believe the reason I received this message was to remind me to be humble and be grateful for the simple things in life. My car is 14 years old and still alive and well. I plan to keep it for as long as I possibly can. I am grateful that I have a car to get around in. I can be humble and enjoy my life without wishing that I had a better 'this' or a newer 'that'. © Erika Marie Rose and Good Vibes, 2019
