In today's meditation, I saw an image of a golden Buddha and heard the word, 'Discipline'. As I reflected more deeply on this message, I felt it was about discipline in as a way of developing self-esteem and self-confidence.

I thought about the ways that I am disciplined, especially about my morning habits. Every morning, as soon as I wake up, I say a prayer of gratitude to the Universe for allowing me to start another day healthy in body, mind, and spirit. I thank my Divinity for supporting me in sharing the light with all those whom I encounter.

After my morning glass of water, I spend an hour doing yoga, chanting, and meditation. To me this is an example of self-discipline, getting myself up and doing my routine in order to start the day off on a positive note. When we start the day with habits that support our well-being, we are making an energetic imprint on our day.

I think the more self-discipline I have in my life, the stronger and more confident I feel.
