Kundalini Yoga for All Levels

Kundalini yoga opens your spiritual eyes and ears. It teaches you to be a master of yourself and a master of creative forces. Through the combination of breath, movement and sound, you will channel the latent creative Kundalini energy at the base of your spine to find more physical energy, emotional vitality and mental clarity. Kundalini is accessible to all levels, no prior experience is necessary. Different from Hatha Yoga, which focuses on strength and flexibility, Kundalini focuses on the respiratory and glandular systems through short repetitive movements, longer holds and chanting. We will work with esoteric anatomy and learn about the charkras, nadis and subtle energy bodies.  All you need to practice kundalini yoga is an open mind.

Bio:

Ava guides heartfelt Hatha, Vinyasa and Kundalini classes. She believes yoga is a transformative and healing practice for every body and strives to bring the gift of yoga to all levels of experience and abilities. Her passion for meditation, philosophy and esoteric anatomy shine through in her classes. She invites you to drop into your body and breath, listen to your heart’s true calling and feel nourished, refreshed and reset. Ava is a recent transplant to the Big Island, Hawaii from Seattle, WA. When she is not on her mat you can find her outside soaking up nature’s beauty and working as a creative director.

Time: 5-6:15 pm HST

Cost: $10-20 sliding scale. Choose a ticket for $10, $15, or $20, whichever amount you are most comfortable with.
