Located in Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii
Erika Marie McClane is a Reiki Master Teacher trained in the Usui/Tibetan/Karuna Reiki traditions.
Erika is passionate about sharing the healing benefits of Reiki. She is a firm believer that the flow of the Universal Life Force Energy that fills us and surrounds us and every living thing can sometimes become blocked. These blockages can lead to stress and stress-related symptoms, which in turn can lead to dis-ease. Reiki is a healing technique that removes energetic blocks in a person's physical, mental, emotional, and ethereal bodies, bringing relaxation, peace, and tranquility.
Erika holds a graduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and has taught at colleges and universities, internationally and in California and Hawaii. Her professional training as an educator is reflected in her development and instruction of her Reiki courses, enabling a deep learning experience. Erika's classes are well-organized, well-paced, with clear communication, and relevant teaching material. She understands that anyone can discover and develop their own ability to do energy healing through Reiki instruction and attunements.
In addition to offering Reiki sessions and courses, Erika is also a sound therapist, holding group sound healings with Tibetan singing bowls at various locations on the Big Island of Hawaii. Erika studied healing with Tibetan singing bowls for two years, learning the ancient practice of using sound and sacred geometry to promote well-being and inner peace to others.
Erika lives together with her Husband, Skip, in Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii. Their home is located less than a mile from one of the fissures that opened up and spewed lava during the Kilauea eruption in 2018. Erika and Skip feel very blessed that their house was spared from the lava, and they have created a high-vibe healing space on their property, called the Maika'i Studio, where classes and events are held.
